Pakistan Is Going To Administer Single Dose Cansino Vaccine

On Saturday, Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Asad Umar chaired a gathering of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) here in Islamabad to review the Covid-19 situation.

The NCOC session held with Asad Umar within the chair through video link and co-chaired by National Coordinator NCOC lieutenant general Hamood Uz Zaman Khan.

The meeting was apprised that the single-dose CanSino Covid vaccine administration would commence in all the provinces from Monday onwards.

The forum emphasized that each Covid Vaccination Centers should ensure to facilitate above 65 years age individuals who already have been allowed walk-in vaccination facility.

“All registered citizens are encouraged to urge themselves vaccinated,” the forum said during a statement.

The government has also expanded the vaccination campaign in recent weeks, allowing people over the age of fifty to get vaccinated, in wake of the third wave of the pandemic driven by the united kingdom strain of coronavirus.

The meeting also discussed the establishment of call centers at the District level to pursue registered senior citizens for vaccination to further enhance the efficacy of this reach-out drive.
